Translate an English video into Ukrainian subtitles
English content in a Ukrainian market needs Ukrainian subtitles, and machine captions from the platform rarely produce them cleanly. This does it from the audio, not from YouTube's caption track.
You get an SRT you can edit, or a copy of the video with the line already burned in.

What happens to your video
- Upload the file or paste a public link. Phone footage (HEVC/MOV) is read as it comes off the phone.
- The audio is transcribed first, with word-level timing, so every cue starts where speech starts.
- Each line is translated on its own. Timecodes are copied through and never rewritten.
- Download the SRT, or a copy of the video with the subtitles burned in at the original resolution.
Notes on the audio
- Ukrainian and Russian share the Cyrillic alphabet but not the vocabulary or the letters і, ї, є. Recognition sometimes outputs Russian.
- Cases are just as free as in Russian, and proper nouns have settled English spellings (Kyiv, not Kiev).
- Transliterated Ukrainian cannot be reused as Russian subtitles; the two files are not interchangeable.

Questions
Will the Ukrainian lines be too long for the screen?
Lines are kept short, but Ukrainian usually runs longer than the English source, so a manual pass on line breaks is worth doing. Transliterated Ukrainian cannot be reused as Russian subtitles; the two files are not interchangeable.
Does it use YouTube's auto-captions?
No. It transcribes the audio itself, so it also works for files with no captions at all.
Can I get both languages?
Yes, bilingual output keeps the English line above the Ukrainian one.
