Translate a video to English online
Two different things get called "translating a video", and mixing them up is where most of the frustration comes from.
- The text. Speech has to become written words in English.
- The timing. Each line has to appear at the moment it is spoken.
Machine translation only solves the first one. If you paste a whole transcript into a translator, you get English words with no reliable relationship to the audio — and if the timestamps were in the file, they get translated too and the subtitles break.
How this tool handles it
- The audio track is transcribed with word-level timing. The clock comes from the speech, not from a guess.
- Each subtitle line is translated on its own, so the timestamps are never rewritten.
- You choose the output: an SRT file to upload to YouTube, or the video with the English subtitles burned into the picture.

Works from a link or a file
You can upload a file or paste a link. Both go through the same pipeline; the download is identical.

- Longer: 1 credit per minute, $1 = 20 credits.
- You may publish the result on your own channel or site if you own the source video.
