Add Spanish subtitles to a video
Sometimes the job is not translation at all: the video is already in Spanish and just needs captions that match the speech. That is the same pipeline without the translation step.
You get an SRT you can restyle, or a copy with the Spanish line burned in at the original resolution.

What happens to your video
- Upload the file or paste a public link. Phone footage (HEVC/MOV) is read as it comes off the phone.
- The audio is transcribed first, with word-level timing, so every cue starts where speech starts.
- Each line is translated on its own. Timecodes are copied through and never rewritten.
- Download the SRT, or a copy of the video with the subtitles burned in at the original resolution.
Notes on Spanish subtitles
- Spanish reads faster than English on screen, so lines can hold more text. Going the other way, English to Spanish, watch that the line does not overflow.
- Spanish packs more syllables per second into the same content, so subtitles usually need condensing rather than word-for-word translation.
- Captions follow what is said, including the speaker's own mistakes; nothing is rewritten for style.
