Translate a Indonesian video into English subtitles
A Indonesian video with no English subtitles only reaches people who already speak Indonesian. This takes the file and returns an English subtitle track timed to the speech.
The timing comes from the audio, so a line lands where it is actually spoken.

What happens to your video
- Upload the file or paste a public link. Phone footage (HEVC/MOV) is read as it comes off the phone.
- The audio is transcribed first, with word-level timing, so every cue starts where speech starts.
- Each line is translated on its own. Timecodes are copied through and never rewritten.
- Download the SRT, or a copy of the video with the subtitles burned in at the original resolution.
Notes on the audio
- Affixes (me-, -kan, ke-an) change word class, so one root can produce a dozen related words.
- Spoken Indonesian is full of contractions (nggak, aja, gimana) that never appear in the dictionary form.
- Indonesian line width is close to English: around 40 characters reads comfortably.

Questions
Does it need subtitles to already exist?
No. It listens to the audio and builds the English lines from scratch, so a Indonesian video with no captions works the same way.
Will the English lines land in the right place?
Yes. The timing is derived from the Indonesian audio before any translation happens, so the cues do not shift afterwards.
Can I edit the result?
Yes. The SRT is plain text; open it in any editor and fix names or terms by hand.
