Translate a Chinese video into Korean subtitles
Chinese to Korean is one of the pairs where a dictionary gets you most of the way and then stops. Much of the Sino-Korean vocabulary lines up with Chinese, but Korean needs particles and an ending, so the sentence comes out longer than the original.
The timing comes from the audio, so a line lands where it is actually spoken.

What happens to your video
- Upload the file or paste a public link. Phone footage (HEVC/MOV) is read as it comes off the phone.
- The audio is transcribed first, with word-level timing, so every cue starts where speech starts.
- Each line is translated on its own. Timecodes are copied through and never rewritten.
- Download the SRT, or a copy of the video with the subtitles burned in at the original resolution.
Notes on the audio
- Much of the Sino-Korean vocabulary lines up with Chinese, but Korean needs particles and an ending, so the sentence comes out longer than the original.
- Mandarin has no tense endings, so 我吃了 / 我在吃 / 我要吃 are the same verb with different particles. The English tense is inferred from context and time words.
- Korean subtitle lines tend to break around 14-16 characters. The English translation of the same line usually fits in 38-42 characters.

Questions
Do you translate through English?
The engine works from the Chinese audio and produces Korean directly; the English gloss is only for this page.
How accurate is it?
A Chinese character carries more meaning than an English word, so the same line takes far less room in Chinese than in the English translation. Expect the subtitle to grow by roughly a third when it comes back. On top of that, review proper nouns by hand before publishing.
Can I keep the Chinese line as reference?
Yes, bilingual output keeps both lines in one file.
