Framelingo

VEED does everything. That is also why it costs a subscription.

Online editors bundle trimming, recording, background removal, subtitles and translation into one workspace. Useful if you are producing the video inside the browser. Unnecessary if the video already exists and the only missing piece is the text in another language.

The workflow this replaces

  1. Upload the video (or paste the link) and pick the target language.
  2. The audio is transcribed with word-level timing.
  3. Each line is translated separately — the timestamps stay where the speech put them.
  4. Download the SRT, or a copy of the video with the subtitles rendered in.

If you then want to restyle the subtitles, take the SRT into an editor. Keeping the timing and the styling in separate steps is usually cheaper than doing both inside one subscription.

Machine translation is not proofreading. Read the file before it goes out — especially proper nouns, numbers and anything a customer would notice.
